I thought this was very, very good- I have had worse 2 star meals. Some dishes were great including the lamb and yellowtail. There was also some stunning black pudding.

This was very expensive by Budapest standards though. One could eat well in the Ledbury for this price; given that it is situated in a town where 2 pints overlooking the Danube can be had for a fiver, then maybe it is the wrong price, on the other hand I have had worse meals in Paris that were more expense so maybe not. There was also a lot of food!

Exactly what one needs when they have just committed to a large tasting menu- a massive, lovely looking bread selection! I think this may have been the second biggest I have ever seen (after the one in JR in Vegas).
